Born and raised on a farm and ranch in Mississippi, Ron spent eight years in the forest products industry where he gained a firm knowledge of business efficiencies, project and business management and conservation practices. Armed with this practical experience, Ron returned to school to earn his JD and MBA, then began practicing law in the San Luis Valley. Ten years later, Ron brought his business savvy to Parker. Ron maintains a significant practice throughout the San Luis Valley. Ron’s passion has always been the farm and ranch community and lifestyle and he appreciates being able to represent farmers, ranchers, the businesses that serve them and other agribusinesses, as well as working with an amateur rodeo production company. Ron’s primary practice areas are real estate and real estate development, business and corporate law, farm and ranch, agribusiness law, conservation easements, zoning and land use and wills, trusts and estate planning.
